Beautiful handle
The Ame knives are characterized by their unique handle with Rain Pattern. The beautiful handle is made of Masur. Masur is a birch in which the annual rings grow in different directions - instead of vertically as usual with a tree. Masur is very popular because it is incredibly beautiful and considerably harder than normal wood.

Handmade in detail
Because the knives are handmade, attention is paid to every detail during production. This way you get the best quality Japanese knives.

A real all-rounder
A Santoku knife is perhaps the model of Japanese knives that has established itself most firmly all over the world. And that's not crazy! The design varies widely but often has a higher profile than Western chef's knives. A Santoku also has a more pronounced rounding at the tip. It is very common for cooks to use their Santoku for just about everything in the kitchen.
