With an SG2 steel core with a hardness of 63 Rockwell, enclosed between two layers of softer steel to protect the brittle core from breaking, the knife has an elegant appearance. The hammered appearance gives it a rustic look. The handle is made of black beech Pakka wood and the bolster has the Yaxell logo ran which means "swirling".
